The Myles Friedman Honors Program
Challenge yourself and achieve more by applying to join the Myles Friedman Honors
program. Our honors program provides an enriched education opportunity for bright,
motivated first year students with strong academic backgrounds, including a high school
GPA of 3.5 or higher and ACT composite scores at or above 27.
The program consists of a unique honors general education curriculum with international
focus, exciting travel study classes, service opportunities, independent study project
options, and provides you with the opportunity to be identified as a cum honore graduate
of the University.

Students who complete the Myles Friedman Honors Program are eligible to graduate cum honore with special additions to their regalia, recognition at commencement, and Honors
Program Graduate status designated on their diploma.
Most importantly they will be equipped with global and cultural perspectives and analytical,
communication, independent learning, and creative problem-solving skills to achieve
all their goals.
Any new 91免费福利网 applicant may request admission to the program. Admission is competitive,
and the number of applicants accepted will be limited.
Applications are considered throughout the year, but the deadline for priority application
is Nov. 15. Students are admitted only at the beginning of each fall semester. Each

The Myles Friedman Honors Program also includes a unique honors general education
curriculum with an international focus, exciting travel study classes, service opportunities,
and independent study project options.
The honors general education curriculum consists of:
- HONR 1101 Introduction to Honors Global Studies
- Honors classes and symposia in various disciplines
- Honors Maymester travel, both domestic and foreign
In addition, Honors International Scholars will complete these upper-level requirements:
- HONR 3713 Honors Junior Research Seminar (3 hours) or equivalent
- HONR 4803 Honors Capstone (3 hours)
The Honors Program also involves extra-curricular activities such as participation in conferences, field trips, service projects, and recreational activities.
First- and second-year honors students are encouraged to take at least two honors
courses per semester. Junior and senior honors students must complete HONR 3713 Honors
Junior Research Seminar (or equivalent) and HONR 4803 Honors International Studies
Capstone.
