Scholarships

International students intending to apply for the following scholarships must have their high school transcript evaluated by an accredited evaluation service. Please use to find an evaluation service.

NOTE: International students are not eligible for scholarships that require qualification for the Federal Pell Grant based on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.


Class Registration

If you have not taken the ACT or SAT, you will be required to take the ACCUPLACER Next-Generation Test. This test is required for class-level placement.

  • After taking the ACCUPLACER test, you will be registered for classes.
  • Federal immigration law requires all F-1 Visa holders to be enrolled full time (at least 12 credit hours a semester).
  • F-1 Visa holders are allowed to take only one online class per semester.

NOTE: This test should be taken before arriving in the United States. If you have any questions, contact the Office of International Relations at 479-788-7137.


Certificate of Eligibility (Form I-20 or DS2019)

The Certificate of Eligibility (Form I-20 or DS2019) will be provided to each admitted student following completion of all admissions requirements. This document is taken to a United States embassy or consulate to obtain an F-1 Visa to enter the United States as a student. Documentary evidence of financial resources, SEVIS I-901 fee payment receipt, valid passport, and proof of ties to the home country must also be presented at your appointment at the U.S. embassy/consulate.

  • Declaration and Confirmation of Financial Resources Form
  • Official bank statement showing proof of $27,479 in financial resources from either student or sponsor, signed and stamped.
  • Official Academic Records:
    • All academic records must be originals or certified copies in a sealed envelope from the institution. Copies must be certified (both signed with the seal/stamp affixed) by a school official. Notarized copies will not be accepted. An official English translation must also be provided.
    • In order to have credit transferred, a course-by-course evaluation must be done by an accredited evaluation service. or

  • English proficiency is proven by one of the following options:
    • Official TOEFL score report (61 IBT, 500 Paper, 173 CBT)
    • Official IELTS score report (5.5 or above)
    • ACT/SAT score report card:
      • ACT must be 19+ in both English Language and Reading
      • SAT must be 470+ in both Writing and Critical Reading.
    • Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE)- 45 or above PTE academic score
    • Michigan English Test (MET)- B2 or above
    • Cambridge English Certificates:
      • Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE)
      • Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE)
      • Cambridge English: First (FCE)
    • Completion of EF Level C1-3
    • Completion of ELS level 112
    • Transfer students from a U.S. institution can show proof by completing English I and II with a grade of 鈥淐鈥 or above.

  • Photocopy of passport (and visa, if in the U.S.)

    • If this form is not submitted by the application deadline, you will be responsible to find your own housing arrangements.

Unfortunately, 91免费福利网 cannot issue I-20s for any of our graduate programs. However, international students may apply for those programs if they meet one of the following criteria:

  1. They plan to complete the program while living outside the United States and do not need to apply for an F-1 visa. Some countries have strict laws regarding pursuit of online education at foreign universities. Each applicant is responsible for understanding and following all such local laws.
    OR
  2. Their immigrant or non-immigrant status allows for incidental study. Each applicant is responsible for understanding the requirements and permitted activities of their status. As such, it may be a good idea to consult with an immigration attorney before enrolling.

The earliest you can arrive in the USA is 30 days before the semester start date.

  • If tuition is not paid by the deadline, student will be dropped from all classes.
  • Payments will only be allowed after class registration. (There is not a payment plan option.)
  • Payments can be made by cash, check, or credit card at the Cashier's Office.
  • Payments can be made online, in or out of the country, by visiting our Cashiers page.

NOTE: Students with dependents should add $2,800 per dependent to the total estimated expenses and show proof of that amount in their bank statement or sponsor's bank statement.
